As a people-centric business, it’s important for our customers to find out more about us and our leadership team. You won’t find our directors locked away in offices – they’re usually found on the consultants’ floor or out meeting clients.

Paul Huntingdon – Founder

Paul Huntingdon, Serocor GroupPaul founded ARM in 1996 having already gained experience of establishing and growing a niche recruitment business within an agency.

Paul has a thorough understanding of the pressures of starting with nothing but ambition and guts, having grown ARM from a one-man business into an operation with a turnover of £100+ million and employing 200 staff.

Paul is a true entrepreneur whose ventures have been characterised by the conviction that anything is achievable and that anyone can do anything if they really set their mind to it and do not accept the limits they impose on themselves. Paul is focused on aligning goals within the Group and on the creation of wealth for all. He takes an active role in our start-up companies and provides invaluable mentoring expertise.

David Wilson – CEO

David Wilson, Serocor GroupHaving taken his technical knowledge as an HVAC engineer to a recognised plc., David’s recruitment career has generally been in the RPO/MV/managed services and technical recruitment areas of engineering.

This knowledge has helped David fulfil client-focused workforce solutions across most of the engineering sectors globally, also supporting from a Tier 1 or PSL position, and over a number of years, he has grown a specialist portfolio of large engineering businesses that supported huge programmes for GE, British Airways, Interserve, Airbus, JET Aviation, KUKA, Toyota and BMW.

This encompassed aviation, oil and gas, pharmaceutical and biotechnology, telecommunications, maritime, rail, construction and civil engineering projects. These large operations were focused on contract, permanent, statement of works (fixed price) and project-based engagements, and were delivered within a heavily compliant structure, cost effectively and at pace.

Heather Cracknell – CPO

Heather enjoys a challenging career, previously heading up HR for Hampshire Constabulary (Portsmouth area) and Portsmouth Football Club. She currently looks after all things people and performance-related at the Serocor Group. During her tenure, Heather has revamped the Group’s ways of working, achieving truly flexible working, redesigned HR reporting, a new culture and much more.

Outside of her day-to-day role, Heather is a trustee at Aurora New Dawn, a charity giving safety, support, advocacy and empowerment to survivors of domestic abuse. Heather is a chartered member of the CIPD.

Shaun Pope – COO

Shaun has over 25 years’ experience in finance with ten years’ experience as an FD in three different businesses – notably distribution, manufacturing and recruitment.

Shaun particularly enjoys the commercial side of his role, supporting the group with its development and growth by creating new solutions, financial modelling and analysis.

Leon Howgill – CCO

Leon has worked in recruitment for 23 years with the last 20 year spent at ARM. He possesses impressive experience across the technology and engineering sectors, and a wide range of disciplines. As ARM’s MD, Leon focuses on ensuring the delivery of solutions for clients’ specific recruitment challenges. During his tenure, Leon has worked with some of the largest companies in the UK, assisting in complex transformation programmes.

The most important aspect of Leon’s role is delivering a quality service to our clients and watching the business relationship develop. He is passionate about great customer service and will always strive to achieve the high standards he expects from his teams.

For Leon, the secret to developing great client relationships is taking an honest approach, “always be realistic with clients, don’t be afraid to say something that the client may not want to hear.”.
