We’re delighted to announce that Director of People Development, Heather Cracknell, has been appointed to the Serocor Group board.
Commenting on her promotion, Heather said: “I’m pleased that the Group is bold enough to put an HRD on the board – a typically under-represented role. People are the Group’s most important asset and I’m looking forward to representing every voice in the business, increasing our diversity and creating more opportunities for all. I’m excited to be working alongside such a strong team and taking the business in new directions.
COO, David Wilson, echoes this sentiment, adding: “Heather has been absolutely integral to the Group, and I know she can have an even bigger impact by being on the board. Heather’s promotion reflects our investment in nurturing and growing our talent.”
Heather enjoys a challenging career, previously heading up HR for Hampshire Constabulary (Portsmouth area) and Portsmouth Football Club. She looks after all things people and performance-related at the Serocor Group. During her tenure, Heather has revamped the Group’s ways of working, achieving truly flexible working, and redesigned HR reporting.
Outside of her day-to-day role, Heather is a trustee at Aurora New Dawn, a charity giving safety, support, advocacy and empowerment to survivors of domestic abuse.
